개인정보처리방침 (한국어)
주식회사 호퍼스(이하 "회사")는 「개인정보 보호법」 제30조에 따라 정보주체의 개인정보를 보호하고 이와 관련한 고충을 신속하고 원활하게 처리하기 위하여 다음과 같이 개인정보처리방침을 수립·공개합니다. 이 방침은 회사가 운영하는 호핑하우스(Hoppin House, 서울특별시 서대문구 연희로2안길 7-10)와 웹사이트 hoppin.life에 적용됩니다.
제1조 (개인정보의 처리 목적)
회사는 다음 목적을 위하여 개인정보를 처리하며, 목적이 변경되는 경우 「개인정보 보호법」 제18조에 따라 필요한 조치를 이행합니다.

입주민 커뮤니티 운영: 입주민 메시지 채널(현재 Discord)을 통한 공지 및 운영 안내

문의·지원 처리: 웹사이트 문의 양식, 커뮤니티 매니저·파트너 지원서 접수 및 답변
6.

회사는 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 처리하지 않습니다. 만 19세 미만 이용자는 법정대리인이 함께 예약한 개인실에서만 이용할 수 있으며, 이 경우 법정대리인을 통해 처리합니다.

제4조 (개인정보의 제3자 제공)
회사는 제1조의 목적 범위에서만 개인정보를 처리하며, 다음의 경우를 제외하고는 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.

제6조 (개인정보의 국외 이전)
회사는 계약의 체결 및 이행을 위하여 아래와 같이 개인정보를 국외에 처리위탁·보관합니다 (「개인정보 보호법」 제28조의8 제1항 제3호).

제7조 (개인정보의 파기 절차 및 방법)
보유 기간이 끝나거나 처리 목적이 달성된 개인정보는 지체 없이(5일 이내) 파기합니다. 전자적 파일은 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 삭제하고, 종이 문서는 분쇄하거나 소각합니다. 법령에 따라 보존해야 하는 정보는 다른 정보와 분리하여 보관합니다.
제8조 (정보주체의 권리·의무 및 행사 방법)
정보주체는 언제든지 개인정보의 열람, 정정·삭제, 처리정지 및 동의 철회를 요구할 수 있습니다. 이메일([email protected]) 또는 서면으로 요청하시면 10일 이내에 조치하고 결과를 알려 드립니다. 대리인을 통한 요청은 위임장을 함께 제출해 주십시오. 다만 법령에서 보존을 요구하는 정보는 삭제를 요구할 수 없습니다.
제9조 (개인정보의 안전성 확보 조치)

설치 위치: 출입구, 복도·계단, 주방, 거실, 테라스, 지하 1층 코워킹 공간 (총 6대). 화장실·욕실·침실·도미토리에는 설치하지 않으며, 녹음 기능은 사용하지 않습니다.

촬영 시간: 24시간

보관 기간: 촬영일부터 30일 후 자동 삭제 (사고 조사·분쟁 시 종결 시까지 보관)

관리책임자: 제12조의 개인정보 보호책임자

열람 요청: 본인이 촬영된 영상에 한하여 이메일로 요청할 수 있으며, 다른 사람의 영상은 가린 후 제공할 수 있습니다.

제11조 (쿠키 등 자동 수집 장치)
웹사이트는 서비스 제공과 방문 통계를 위해 쿠키를 사용하며, Google Analytics(Google Tag Manager 포함)로 방문 기록을 분석합니다. Google의 분석 차단 도구를 이용해 분석을 거부할 수도 있습니다. 이용자는 브라우저 설정에서 쿠키 저장을 거부할 수 있으며, 이 경우 일부 기능 이용이 제한될 수 있습니다.

Privacy Policy (English)
Hoppers Inc. (주식회사 호퍼스, "we") publishes this Privacy Policy under Article 30 of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). It covers Hoppin House (7-10 Yeonhui-ro 2an-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul) and the website hoppin.life. If this English version and the Korean version differ, the Korean version prevails.
1. Why we use your information
1.
To handle your booking and our agreement: reviewing bookings, handling cancellation and change requests, move-in and move-out, assigning beds and rooms, extensions, payments, refunds and settlement.

To confirm identity and age, and keep the house safe: ID checks at move-in, access control, preventing fire, theft and accidents, and handling rule breaches.
3.
To handle enquiries and disputes, including payment disputes (chargebacks).
4.
To run the resident community through our resident messaging channel (currently Discord) and send notices.
5.
To answer enquiries and applications sent through the website forms (for example Community Manager or partner applications).
6.
Only if you agree: to use photos or videos of you for promotion, and to send you news and event emails.

We don't process the personal information of children under 14. Guests under 19 may stay only in a private room booked together with their parent or legal guardian, and we process their information through that guardian.

4. Sharing with third parties
We only use your information for the purposes above, and we don't share it with third parties except:

with your consent;
2.
where the law requires it, including lawful requests from the police or other authorities;
3.
where it's needed to protect someone's life, body or property in an emergency;
4.
in a payment dispute (chargeback), when we give the payment provider or card issuer your booking and stay records (our legitimate interest, PIPA Art. 15(1)6).

To make and carry out our agreement with you, we store or process some information with providers outside Korea (PIPA Art. 28-8(1)3):

You can ask us not to transfer your information by emailing [email protected]. Because our booking and payment systems are outside Korea, we can't take a booking without these transfers.
7. How we delete information
When the retention period ends or we no longer need the information, we delete it without delay (within 5 days). Files are deleted so they can't be recovered; paper is shredded or burned. Information we must keep by law is stored separately.
8. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, ask us to stop processing it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] or write to us; we act within 10 days and tell you the result. Someone can ask on your behalf with a signed authorization. We can't delete information the law requires us to keep.
9. How we protect your information

Organization: an internal privacy plan, and as few staff as possible handling personal information, with training.
•
Technical: access controls, two-factor authentication, password management, access logs.
•
Physical: restricted access to CCTV video and paper records.
10. CCTV
•
Purpose: safety of the house, fire prevention and crime prevention.
•
Where: entrances, hallways and stairs, kitchen, living room, terrace and the B1F coworking space (6 cameras in total). Never in toilets, bathrooms, bedrooms or the dorm. Cameras record video only, without sound.
•
When: 24 hours a day.
•
How long: deleted automatically after 30 days, or kept until an incident or dispute is closed.
•
Responsible person: the privacy officer in section 12.
•
Viewing: you can ask by email to see video of yourself; other people in it may be blurred.
•
Signs are posted at the entrances and in recorded areas.
11. Cookies
The website uses cookies to work properly and to measure visits with Google Analytics (including Google Tag Manager). You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). You can block cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work.
