Where it began
Our story began in September 2023, in a red-brick house in Yeonnam, Seoul. We brought coliving, coworking and community into one building: a place to settle in, get work done and meet people along the way.
The first floor held the coworking space. Upstairs, the second and third floors housed the bedrooms and shared living spaces. Outside, a garden and terrace offered room to take a break and spend time together.

At our opening gathering, visitors explored the house while the bedrooms and workspace were still being prepared. Our event guide invited people to take a tour, meet the Digital Nomads Korea community and leave a photo or message on the community board.
The rooms
These were the bedrooms at our former Yeonnam house. The archive includes shared sleeping spaces and private rooms, with layouts and furnishings photographed at different points in the house’s history.

A place to work
Work was part of everyday life at Yeonnam. The ground-floor workspace combined shared tables, individual desks, a meeting room and a separate phone booth. People could work alongside one another, then move into a quieter space for a conversation or call.

Everyday life
The house continued beyond the bedrooms and desks. Kitchens, lounges and outdoor spaces gave people places to cook, eat, talk and pause between plans. These photographs show the shared spaces as they were during the Yeonnam years.

People we welcomed
Yeonnam brought together people who stayed in the house, people who came to work, and people who joined a gathering. A day at a shared desk and a longer stay offered different ways to become part of the house.

The pictures preserved here show the everyday side of that community: a shared table, a conversation, a meal and time spent together. Thank you to everyone who helped make the house feel like a home.
Brands and communities we worked with
Digital Nomads Korea
Digital Nomads Korea, Hoppin’s sibling community, was part of the Yeonnam story from the opening gathering onward. House residents and the wider community met through coworking sessions, dinners and social gatherings.
One example was Coworking & Dinner: people worked at the house and then explored restaurants around Yeonnam together. A March 2025 event record documents this format at the former Seongmisan-ro location.

Community moments
The archive holds both larger gatherings and smaller moments around the house. These photographs look back at people arriving, tables being shared and evenings spent in the courtyard.

The next chapter
